King City Emergency Plumber

King, ON Preferred Plumbing Solutions, is the best plumbing company to handle your plumbing emergencies and long-term projects. Servicing residential plumbing clients, our company uses pex piping to make drinking water healthier, eliminate noise associated with “water hammer”, and optimize your water supply.

FlowTech For Your Home

Hard water causes plumbing parts in homes to wear off quickly. There’s a solution that Preferred Plumbing Solutions has been applying in King City. Safe water and make your house energy-efficient with a Flow-Tech water system.

Pex piping is more malleable than traditional copper pipes, which allows for some major advantages. One of the benefits that clients who have us replace their piping most enjoy is the optimization of their water supply. Traditional piping requires several 90-degree elbows. The resistance created by these elbows decreases the flow of water through the pipes, which means that you experience lower water pressure as the end user. With pex piping, the need for 90-degree turns is almost eliminated, which increases the flow of water through the pipes.

King, ON Preferred Plumbing Solutions’ pex piping, can also eliminate the nuisance of noisy pipes. Copper pipes are extremely rigid, which means that “water hammer”, the shock vibration of water passing through pipes when faucets get turns off and on, can create a lot of noise. By contrast, pex piping absorbs the shock, which means that you don’t hear the sound.

Finally, and most importantly, the pex piping used by King, ON Preferred Plumbing Solutions eliminates the health concern of ferrous material being picked by the water that runs through your pipes. While this isn’t noticeable by any individual using the water for most common purposes, the sediment picked up by the water can cause major long-term health complications for those who consume it regularly. With pex piping, there isn’t any sediment for the water to pick up. This means that you don’t have to worry about there being any ferrous material in your water.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The work was done to satisfaction. But still recovering from the exorbitant fee we signed for without seeking a second quote,! Entirely our mistake as aging Seniors 80+, one of whom is under medication for extreme anxiety. Hence the poor judgement and decision making! Be that as it may, we take comfort and are grateful that the CEO, no less, was present along with another licensed plumber and a young helper to finish the task the same day. On principle, and in practice, we have never grudged paying for services rendered by the various trades we have had to use, mindful that these are one time costs that we need to endure cheerfully, from time to time. After all, businesses have overheads and we hope their employees are compensated with the same generosity. So in that spirit of goodwill, I would recommend Preferred Plumbing.

Update Sept.11/2025
Another job by the Preferred Plumbing team. From pleasant reception by the office staff, prompt scheduling of the service call to the finish, Preferred Plumbing provided excellent service. While attending his plumbing work, I must add that it was Rafi's astute observation that brought to our attention that the electrical box was not installed at the right distance to connect the wall oven. We were able to correct this mistake before the cabinet installation, thanks to Rafi! We are Tony and Premu Jasansky, residents of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Frequently Asked Questions

My toilet is making weired noises, should I be concerned?

Yes. That means the internal parts are failing and are no longer operating correctly, and you are losing water.

There is a wet mark on my ceiling but no water, is this a problem?

Yes, it may be a very slow leak, more of a seapage situation. Or perhaps it’s intermittent, either way, it should be investigated.

How long does a toilet last?

It totally depends on the mineral level in the water and the voliume of us. Some toilets will need servicing or replacing at the 5 year mark, some may last 20 years.

Is a Hot water tank or a tankless water heater better?

Although Tankless water heaters are more energy-efficient, every family will have different demands and needs.

My kitchen drain is draning very slowly, is this a problem?

Yes, it is a problem, it means that the drain is very dirty with organic waste and grease. There is an accumulation of waste that requires professional help.

There is a wierd smell in my basement, what do you think it is?

It may be sewer gas coming from a part of the sanitary plumbing system. A professional should be called out to inspect.

There is a weird whisteklying noise every time I shower, what is that?

It may be a shower head issue, diverter spout issue, or internal component failure. This is also caused by scale in the water

Why are my faucets stiff and so difficult to operate?

Stiff faucets are caused by worn internal components such as cartridges. This is due to the hardness of the water.

What is a water softener?

A piece of equipment that replaces the calcium and magnesium as well as most minerals through ionic exchange from your water supply system

Is there a cheaper and easier alternative to a water softener?

Yes! Our revolutionary Flow-Tech Anti-Scale system renders all the minerals in your water supply plumbing system harmless without the bulky and invasive aspects of a water softener. The Flow-Tech is a water conditioner, not a water softener.
